Gaza's Food System

Since October 2023, Israel has unleashed on Gaza's 2.3 million people a genocidal assault that has killed many scores of thousands of Gazans. This (U.S.-supported) assault has uprooted and repeatedly relocated those who survived the bombardments and has destroyed nearly all the region's basic infrastructure including facilities vital to its food system. Malnutrition and starvation are rampant. On this page we will provide concrete, regular updates on the damage suffered by Gaza's food system and resources that can help to inform its rebuilding once the assault ends.
